COMET 2004 K3 (LINEAR)
     An apparently asteroidal object reported by LINEAR (discovery
observation below), and posted on the NEO Confirmation Page,
has been found to have cometary appearance on CCD images taken by
P. Birtwhistle (Great Shefford, U.K.; coma diameter 12", hint of 9"
wide extension from 3" central condensation for approx. 20" in p.a.
90 deg.) and by P. Holvercem and M. Schwartz (Tenagra Observatories,
Nogales, AZ; 0.81-m f/7 Ritchey-Chretien; 5" coma).  Complete details
