Electronic Telegram No. 299 Central Bureau for Astronomical Telegrams INTERNATIONAL ASTRONOMICAL UNION M.S. 18, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, Cambridge, MA 02138, U.S.A. DePoy, Ohio State Uuniversity; and N. Morrell, Las Campanas Observatory, report that a spectrogram (range 390-730 nm) of SN 2005kh (CBET 292, IAUC 8632), obtained on Nov. 22.5 UT at the MDM 2.4-m telescope (+ CCDS), shows it to be a type-II supernova with well-developed hydrogen and He I (587.6 nm) P-Cyg profiles. Using a recession velocity of 2404 km/s for NGC 3094 (Haynes and Giovanelli 1997, A.J. 113, 1197), an expansion velocity of 4300 km/s is derived from the minimum of the H_beta absorption.
