Li reports the LOSS discovery of an apparent supernova on unfiltered KAIT images taken on Jan. 6.54 (at mag 17.5) and 9.53 UT (mag 17.4). The new object is located at R.A. = 12h02m32s.50, Decl. = +41o02'40".2 (equinox 2000.0), which is 45".3 west and 34".2 south of the center of UGC 7020 = MCG +07-25-14. Nothing was visible at this location on a KAIT image taken on 2004 May 25.31 (limiting mag 19.5).
