Li reports the LOSS discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 17.2) on unfiltered KAIT images taken on Jan. 24.11 and 25.13 UT. SN 2006Q is located at R.A. = 1h38m18s.74, Decl. = +35o21'54".5 (equinox 2000.0), which is 2".5 east and 1".0 north of the nucleus of NGC 634. A KAIT image taken on Jan. 13.11 showed nothing at this positon (limiting mag 19.5).
