Langoussis report the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 17.5) on unfiltered CCD frames taken with the 0.60-m automated supernova patrol telescope on Jan. 26.47 and 27.36 UT. SN 2006R is located at R.A. = 16h23m20s.82, Decl. = +37o15'49".8 (equinox 2000.0), which is 3".3 west and 19".3 north of the center of NGC 6142. The new object is not present on images taken by Puckett on 2005 Oct. 15 (limiting mag 19.6). Puckett and R. Gagliano also report the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 17.0) on unfiltered CCD frames taken on Jan. 26.44 and 27.24 UT. SN 2006S is located at R.A. = 12h45m39s.10, Decl. = +35o05'12".4 (equinox 2000.0), which is 4".7 east and 10".7 north of the center of UGC 7934.
