Khandrika and W. Li report the LOSS discovery of an apparent supernova on unfiltered KAIT images taken on May 6.45 (at mag 18.3) and 7.43 UT (mag 18.1). SN 2006cc is located at R.A. = 16h09m56s.47, Decl. = +43o07'35".9 (equinox 2000.0), which is 11".1 east and 9".4 south of the center of UGC 10244. KAIT images taken on Feb. 13.48 (limiting mag 19.5) and Apr. 26.45 (limiting mag 18.5) showed nothing at this position.
