Puckett and A. Langoussis report the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 16.6) on CCD images taken with a 0.60-m reflector at Ellijay, GA, on May 24.37 UT in the course of the Puckett Observatory Supernova Search. The object is located at R.A. = 21h20m17s.46, Decl. = -01o41'02".7 (equinox 2000.0), which is 2".0 west and 1".0 north of the center of UGC 11723. The new object was confirmed at mag 16.4 by Puckett on May 25.37. Nothing is visible at this location on images taken by Puckett on 2005 Nov. 25 (limiting mag 19.3).
