Starrfield, Arizona State University; G. Schwarz, West Chester University; J. Osborne and K. L. Page, University of Leicester; and J. Krautter, University of Heidelberg, report that V2362 Cyg has been detected in x-rays with Swift. The classical nova exploded before Apr. 2.8 UT (cf. IAUC 8697, 8698, 8702). After July 21, the nova has re-brightened, lasting at least until the first week of October (CBET 671). Swift observed V2362 Cyg on Oct. 14.17 for 2269 seconds, yielding 15 counts on an expected background of 1.5 counts, which is a statistically significant detection. After correction for the bad columns, the net count rate was 0.01 +/- 0.004 counts/s. Statistical tests imply that the spectrum is not that of a supersoft x-ray binary source, as the source spectrum is harder than the background.
