SUPERNOVA 2006lg IN UGC 2243
     Further to IAUC 8766, N. Joubert and W. Li report the LOSS discovery
of an apparent supernova on unfiltered KAIT images taken on Oct. 25.38
(at mag 18.8), 26.36 (mag 18.4), and 28.34 UT (mag 18.5).  SN 2006lg is
located at R.A. = 2h46m57s.64, Decl. = +39d00'40".0 (equinox 2000.0),
which is 0".6 west and 4".8 south of the nucleus of UGC 2243.  A KAIT
image taken on Oct. 1.38 showed nothing at this position (limiting mag
19.0).
