Thrasher and W. Li report the LOSS discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 17.9) on an unfiltered KAIT image taken on Sept. 12.48 UT. The new object is located at R.A. = 2h08m34s.08, Decl. = +29o14'13".9 (equinox 2000.0), which is 19".4 west and 4".8 south of the center of NGC 819. Additional KAIT magnitudes for 2007ir: Aug. 11.48 UT, [19.3; 21.49, [18.5; 29.47, 18.1.
