Boles, Coddenham, England, reports the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 16.9) on an unfiltered CCD image taken on Feb. 13.134 UT with a 0.35-m reflector. The new object is located at R.A. = 13h33m06s.33, Decl. = +33o08'59".0 (equinox 2000.0), which is approximately 3".3 west and 7".3 south of the center of MCG +06-30-34. Boles measures end figures 06s.35, 58".4 from a confirming image acquired by W. Li (University of California at Berkeley) on Feb. 14.487. Nothing is present at this position on Boles' images from 2004 May 27 and 2005 Jan. 13 (limiting mag 19.5) or on Digitized Sky Survey plates from 1989 Mar. 9 (limiting red mag 20.5) and 1991 Apr. 8 (limiting blue mag 21.0).
