Prieto, Ohio State University, report that they obtained BVRI images of SN 2008S (cf. CBETs 1234, 1235, 1236, 1275; IAUCs 1330, 1331) on Apr. 16.5 UT (74.7 days after discovery) using the 4K CCD imager on the MDM 1.3-m telescope. The following magnitudes for 2008S were calibrated with respect to eight local standards in the field from Sahu et al. (2006, MNRAS 372, 1315): B = 19.89 +/- 0.07, V = 18.79 +/- 0.03, R = 17.93 +/- 0.02, I = 17.21 +/- 0.02. SN 2008S has faded by about 1.9, 1.6, and 1.5 magnitudes in the B, V, and R bands since discovery on Feb. 1.8.
