SUPERNOVA 2008S IN NGC 6946
     J. C. Yee, J. D. Eastman, and J. L. Prieto, Ohio State University, report
that they obtained BVRI images of SN 2008S (cf. CBETs 1234, 1235, 1236, 1275;
IAUCs 1330, 1331) on Apr. 16.5 UT (74.7 days after discovery) using the 4K CCD
imager on the MDM 1.3-m telescope.  The following magnitudes for 2008S were
calibrated with respect to eight local standards in the field from Sahu et al.
(2006, MNRAS 372, 1315):  B = 19.89 +/- 0.07, V = 18.79 +/- 0.03, R = 17.93
+/- 0.02, I = 17.21 +/- 0.02.  SN 2008S has faded by about 1.9, 1.6, and 1.5
magnitudes in the B, V, and R bands since discovery on Feb. 1.8.
