Martin, Perth Observatory, reports the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 15.3) on red CCD images taken on May 21.52 UT with the Perth/Lowell Automated Telescope in the course of the Perth Automated Supernova Search. The new object is located at R.A. = 12h40m55s.66, Decl. = -40d58m12s.1 (equinox 2000.0; +/- 0".15 in each coordinate), which is 4".7 east and 23".2 north of the center of the galaxy NGC 4603. A confirming image was taken by Martin through cloud (non-photometric conditions) on May 26. Additional CCD magnitudes for 2008cn: 2007 Apr. 14, [18.5 (Martin); 2008 May 8.803, [18.8 (L. A. G.
