Antezana, L. Gonzalez, P. Gonzalez, P. Lopez, S. Silva, and G. Folatelli, Universidad de Chile; and D. Reichart, K. Ivarsen, A. Crain, D. Foster, M. Nysewander, and A. LaCluyze University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, on behalf of the CHASE project, report the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag approximately 17.3) on a luminance- filter image taken on June 7.15 UT with the 0.41-m "PROMPT 2" telescope located at Cerro Tololo. The new object is located at R.A. = 20h00m57s.41 +/- 0".2, Decl. = -47o04'02".7 +/- 0".2 (equinox 2000), which is about 10".3 west and 9".3 norht of center of the galaxy NGC 6845A. Additional approximate magnitudes for 2008da: May 20.34, [18.0; 26.14, [17.0; June 8.10, 17.1; 10.17, 17.3; 12.09, 17.3.
