Li reports that an apparent supernova has been discovered independently by E. Sanders and J. Holtzman, Apache Point Observatory (APO) with the APO 1-m telescope, and by W. Li, B. Cenko, and A. V. Filippenko in the course of the LOSS with KAIT (cf. CBET 1998). The new object, designated 2009ld, is located at R.A. = 22h49m48s.41, Decl. = +11o38'46".8 (equinox 2000.0), which is 2".7 west and 0".8 south of a galaxy that itself is 90" west and 136" north of the center of NGC 7385. Available magnitudes for 2009ld: a stacked KAIT image from 2009 Aug.-Oct., [20.5; Nov. 4.16 UT, 18.9 (KAIT); 5.86, 18.5 (APO); 8.17, 18.8 (KAIT); 12.16, 18.8 (KAIT); 16.12, 18.8 (KAIT).
