SUPERNOVA 2009lx IN MCG +01-30-8
     Further to CBET 2045, A. J. Drake, S. G. Djorgovski, A. Mahabal, M. J.
Graham and R. Williams, California Institute of Technology; M. Catelan,
Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile; E. C. Beshore and S. M. Larson,
Lunar and Planetary Laboratory, University of Arizona; and E. Christensen,
Gemini Observatory, report the CRTS discovery of an apparent supernova
in unfiltered images from the Mount Lemmon Observatory 1.5-m telescope:

 2009lx   Nov. 24.50   11 40 18.85  + 3 00 18.4   17.1    8".2 W, 15".1 N

Additional magnitudes for 2009lx in MCG +01-30-8, determined from earlier
observations taken with the 0.7-m Catalina Survey Schmidt telescope:
