SUPERNOVA 2009mj IN MCG +07-14-18
     C. V. Griffith, J. J. Kong, I. K. W. Kleiser, and A. V. Filippenko,
University of California, Berkeley, report that inspection of a CCD spectrum
(range 360-1000 nm), obtained on Dec. 18 UT with the 3-m Shane reflector (+
Kast) at Lick Observatory, shows that 2009mj (CBET 2078) is a type-Ia
supernova about one month past maximum brightness.
