Hornoch, Ondrejov Observatory, reports the discovery of another apparent nova in the galaxy M31 on a co-added 1710-s R-band CCD frame taken with the 0.65-m telescope at Ondrejov on Mar. 1.749 UT; the new object is well visible on single images used for the co-added image, but is not present on numerous archival images taken at Lelekovice and Ondrejov back to 2002. M31N 2010-03a is located at R.A. = 0h42m47s.73, Decl. = +41o17'01".4 (equinox 2000.0), which is 38" east and 53" north of the center of M31. R-band magnitudes measured by Hornoch for M31N 2010-03a: 2010 Jan. 31.838 UT, [20.4 (P. Kubanek, N. Morales, J. L. Ortiz, J. Gorosabel, and M. Jelinek, 1.23-m telescope at Calar Alto); Feb. 25.745, [19.4 (K. Hornoch, 0.65-m telescope at Ondrejov); 27.749, 19.0: (Hornoch and P. Hornochova, 0.65-m telescope at Ondrejov; marginal detection); 27.763, [18.8 (Hornoch and Hornochova); Mar. 1.749, 17.4 +/- 0.25 (Hornoch); 2.743, 17.1 +/- 0.2 (Hornoch). Additional R-band magnitudes for M31N 2010-02a (cf. CBET 2190) measured by Hornoch from images taken by himself: Mar. 1.749 UT, 16.8 +/- 0.1; 1.776, 16.7 +/- 0.15; 2.743, 17.1 +/- 0.1.
