Young, P. R. Dunstall, S. Valenti, and S. Smartt, Queens University; and M. Sullivan and I. Hook, Astrophysics Department, Oxford University, report that a spectrum of 2010dd (cf. CBET 2294) was obtained at the William Herschel Telescope (+ ISIS; range 320-1000 nm) on June 8.98 UT, showing 2010dd to be a type-Ia supernova at two months after explosion. Cross- correlation of the observed spectrum with a library of supernova spectra has been performed with the "GELATO" code (Harutyunyan et al. 2008, A.Ap. 488, 383, available at website URL https://gelato.tng.iac.es/login.cgi). The spectrum of 2010dd is similar to that of SN 2000fa (IAUC 7533) at 40 days past maximum at a redshift of z = 0.03.
