Boles, Coddenham, England, reports the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 17.9) on unfiltered CCD images taken on July 19.015 UT with a 0.35-m reflector. The new object is located at R.A. = 17h33m20s.87, Decl. = +44o06'16".4 (equinox 2000.0), which is approximately 2".0 west and 5".8 south of the center of MCG +07-36-25. J. Brimacombe, Cairns, Australia, using a remotely operated 50-cm reflector (+ STL6K camera + clear filter) at New Mexico Skies observatory near Mayhill, NM, U.S.A., obtained a confirmation image on July 20.147 (limiting mag 20.5); position end figures, measured by Boles, are 20s.85 and 16".1. Nothing is present at this position on Boles' images from 2010 Mar. 7 and May 10 (limiting mag 19.5) or on Digitized Sky Survey plates from 1992 June 1 (limiting red mag 20.5) and 1990 Apr. 2 (limiting blue mag 21.0).
