Jewett, S. B. Cenko, W. Li, and A. V. Filippenko, University of California, report the LOSS discovery of an apparent supernova in NGC 6524 (= UGC 11079) on unfiltered KAIT images: SN 2010 UT R.A. (2000.0) Decl. Mag. Offset 2010hh Sept. 1.22 17 59 18.38 +45 52 32.2 18.3 38".7 E, 42".4 S S. Nakano, Sumoto, Japan, reports the independent discovery by Koichi Itagaki (Teppo-cho, Yamagata) of 2010hh at mag 18.1 on a unfiltered CCD frames (limiting mag 21.0) taken on Sept. 2.588 UT using a 0.60-m f/5.7 reflector (+ Bitran BT-214E camera), the position end figures for 2010hh measured as 18s.37 +/- 0s.01, 32".0 (offset 38" east, 42" south). Itagaki adds that nothing is visible at this position on the Digitized Sky Survey.
