Boles, Coddenham, England, reports the discovery of an apparent supernova on unfiltered CCD images taken on Mar. 11.995 (mag 17.7) and 13.918 UT (mag 16.8) with a 0.35-m reflector in the course of the U.K. Nova/Supernova Patrol. The new object is located at R.A. = 7h22m11s.92, Decl. = +40o28'01".5 (equinox 2000.0), which is approximately 3".4 east and 5".3 south of the center of MCG +07-15-15. SN 2003bv is not present on Boles' images from Feb. 1 (limiting mag 19.0) and 18 (limiting mag 19.5), and it is not present on Palomar Sky Survey red (1991) and blue plates (1997).
