Ganeshalingam and W. Li report the LOTOSS discovery of an apparent supernova (mag about 15.8) on unfiltered KAIT images on May 17.3 and 18.3 UT. SN 2003eg is located at R.A. = 12h50m58s.33, Decl. = -14 20'01".1 (equinox 2000.0), which is 16".7 east and 3".2 south of the nucleus of NGC 4727. A KAIT image taken on Apr. 14.3 showed nothing at this position (limiting mag about 18.5).
