Singer and W. Li report the LOSS discovery, on KAIT images taken on Apr. 25.21 and May 2.23 UT, of an apparent supernova (mag about 17.5) located at R.A. = 10h52m35s.33, Decl. = +22 56'05".5 (equinox 2000.0), which is 6".2 west and 2".5 north of the nucleus of NGC 3437. A KAIT image taken on Mar. 15.22 showed nothing at this position (limiting mag about 19.0).
