Armstrong, Rolvenden, U.K., reports his discovery of an apparent supernova on unfiltered CCD images taken on June 24.969 (mag 16.8) and 25.921 UT (mag 16.6) with a 0.35-m reflector. The new object is located at R.A. = 16h06m14s.45 +/- 0s.03, Decl. = +18o24'54".0 +/- 0".1 (equinox 2000.0), which is 1" west and 2" north of the center of MCG +03-41-120. Nothing is visible at this location on Armstrong's images taken on May 18, 24, and June 8 (limiting mag 19.0) or on red Palomar Sky Survey images from 1987 and 1991 (limiting mag about 20.0-20.8) and a blue POSS image from 1992.
