Harutyunyan, F. Bufano, N. Elias-Rosa, L. Zampieri, M. Turatto, and E. Cappellaro, Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica and Osservatorio Astronomico di Padova; and A. Pastorello, Max-Planck-Institut fuer Astrophysik, Garching, report that a spectrogram (range 370-780 nm), obtained on Feb. 7.77 UT with the Copernicus 1.82-m telescope (+ AFOSC), shows that SN 2006G (cf. IAUC 8660, CBET 368) has evolved into a "type-IIb"-like event. The spectrum is now very similar to that of SN 2000H about a month after maximum light (Branch et al. 2002, Ap.J. 566, 1005).
