Cox report the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 18.2) on CCD images taken with a 0.60-m reflector at Ellijay, GA, on Mar. 26.201 UT in the course of the Puckett Observatory Supernova Search; it was confirmed at mag 18.0 by Puckett with a 0.60-m reflector on Mar. 27.208. The new object is located at R.A. = 11h38m28s.46, Decl. = +20o31'34".4 (equinox 2000.0), which is 14".5 west and 5".2 south of the center of UGC 6609. Nothing is visible at this location on images taken by Puckett on Jan. 5 (limiting mag 19.2) or on earlier images taken over the last eight years by Puckett.
