Boles, Coddenham, England, reports the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 16.9) on unfiltered CCD images taken on Apr. 3.985 and 4.933 UT with a 0.35-m reflector. SN 2006bk is located at R.A. = 15h04m33s.61, Decl. = +35o57'51".1 (equinox 2000.0), which is approximately 10".6 east and 3".3 south of the center of MCG +06-33-20. Nothing is visible at this location on Boles' images from 2005 Sept. 4 and 2006 Jan. 28 (limiting mag 19.5) or on Digitized Sky Survey images from 1994 May 3 (limiting red mag 20.5) and 1998 Mar. 17 (limiting blue mag 21.0). Boles also reports a second apparent supernova (mag 17.3) on images taken on Apr. 4.063 and 4.943. SN 2006bl is located at R.A. = 15h39m50s.62, Decl. = +14o11'21".2, which is approximately 1".5 west and 6".2 north of the center of MCG +02-40-9. Nothing is visible at this location on Boles' images from 2005 June 10 and 2006 Jan. 28 (limiting mag 19.5) or on DSS images from 1990 June 14 (limiting blue mag 21.0) and 1992 June 20 (limiting red mag 20.5).
