Jacques, Belo Horizonte, Brazil, reports the discovery of an apparent supernova on unfiltered CCD images taken with a 0.30-m Schmidt-Cassegrain reflector at f/3.0 by C. Colesanti, E. Pimentel, T. Napoleao, and himself as part of their search (cf. IAUC 8658). The new object is located at R.A. = 18h18m28s.67, Decl. = -54o41'45".6 (equinox 2000.0), which is 24".7 west and 6".5 south of the center of the galaxy ESO 182-G10. Available magnitudes for 2006ci: Apr. 5.39 UT, [19.0; May 18.20, 15.1; 19.05, 15.2. Nothing is visible at the location of 2006ci on a red Palomar Survey image from 1995.
