SUPERNOVA 2006dc IN IC 4596
     Further to IAUC 8721, W. Li reports the LOSS discovery of an
apparent supernova on unfiltered KAIT images taken on June 18.36
(at mag 17.8) and 19.29 UT (mag 17.7).  SN 2006dc is located at
R.A.= 16h16m04s.04, Decl. = -22o37'16".7 (equinox 2000.0), which is
6".3 east and 14".6 north of IC 4596.  KAIT images taken on May 20.44
(limiting mag 19.0) and 30.42 (limiting mag 18.0) showed nothing at
this position.
