Duszanowicz, Akersberga, Sweden, reports his discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 17.7) on unfiltered CCD exposures taken on Dec. 18.146 UT with a 0.32-m f/3.1 reflector (image scale 1".74/pixel). The new object is located at R.A. = 12h46m56s.88, Decl. = +36o32'01".8 (equinox 2000.0), which is 8".5 east and 10".5 north of the center of IC 3772.
