Winslow and W. Li report the LOSS discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 18.0) on unfiltered KAIT images taken on Mar. 13.21 UT. The new object is located at R.A. = 8h48m22s.03, Decl. = +18o19'32".6 (equinox 2000.0), which is 38" west and 20" south of the center of IC 2409.
