Mostardi and W. Li report the LOSS discovery of an apparent supernova on unfiltered KAIT images taken on Mar. 22.21 (at mag 17.1) and 24.23 UT (mag 18.2). The new object is located at R.A. = 8h17m14s.85, Decl. = +1o12'06".9 (equinox 2000.0), which is 12".7 west and 16".4 south of the center of UGC 4310. Nothing was visible at this location on a KAIT image taken on Mar. 12.22 (limiting mag 18.7).
