Winslow and W. Li report observations of an apparent supernova on unfiltered KAIT images taken on Mar. 29.49 (at mag 18.2) and 30.46 UT (mag 18.3). The new object is located at R.A. = 15h16m42s.63, Decl. = +7o23'47".8 (equinox 2000.0), which is 11".5 east and 0".9 south of the center of UGC 9798. A KAIT image taken on Mar. 17.48 showed nothing at this position (limiting mag 19.5).
