Guido report the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 17.8) on a CCD image (limiting mag 18.5) taken with a 0.35-m reflector at Ellijay, GA, on Apr. 8.30 UT in the course of the Puckett Observatory Supernova Search; 2007bf was confirmed at mag 17.7 by T. Orff and J. Newton (Portal, AZ, 0.40-m reflector) on Apr. 10.39. The new object is located at R.A. = 14h15m12s.05, Decl. = +15o44'11".8 (equinox 2000.0), which is 4".3 east and 20".1 south of the center of UGC 9121. Nothing is visible at this location on images taken by Puckett on Mar. 25 (limiting mag 19.6).
