Khandrika and W. Li report the discovery of an apparent supernova on unfiltered KAIT images taken on May 29.48 (at mag 18.0) and 30.47 UT (mag 18.1). The new object is located at R.A. = 22h13m55s.79, Decl. = +13o45'23".9 (equinox 2000.0), which is 2".4 west and 3".9 north of the nucleus of UGC 11953. A KAIT image taken on 2006 Nov. 22.11 showed nothing at this position (limiting mag 19.0).
