Klotz, Observatoire de Haute Provence, on behalf of the "TAROT collaboration", reports the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag about R = 15.0 +/- 0.2) on June 16.30 UT using images of the 0.25-m "TAROT" robotic telescope at La Silla. The new object is located at R.A. = 16h21m56s.5, Decl. = -60o40'24" (equinox 2000.0), which is 20" east and 15" south of the nucleus of ESO 137-19. SN 2007cr is also present at R = 15.2 +/- 0.2 on images taken on June 17.34, 20.23, 21,33, and 24.08. Nothing is visible at the location of 2007cr on a TAROT image taken on May 16.30 (R > 18.3) or on Palomar Sky Survey images.
