Sehgal, Osoyoos, BC, Canada; L. Cox, Deep River, ON, Canada; and T. Puckett, Ellijay, GA, U.S.A., report the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 19.6) on a CCD image (limiting mag 20.1) taken with a 0.60-m reflector at Ellijay on Oct. 15.37 UT in the course of the Puckett Observatory Supernova Search. The new object is located at R.A. = 19h34m57s.90, Decl. = +87o16'33".6 (equinox 2000.0), which is 8".6 west and 2".6 north of the center of UGC 11495. Additional magnitudes for 2007mq (all measured by Sehgal using raw images supplied to him): Sept. 30, [20.0 (Sehgal); Oct. 16.01, 19.3 (T. Orff, Shenandoah, PA, U.S.A., remotely using the 0.6-m telescope at Ellijay; limiting mag 19.9); 17.08, 18.9 (J. Newton, remotely using a telescope located near Portal, AZ, U.S.A.).
