SUPERNOVA 2008el IN PGC 70567
     Further to CBET 1452, J. Leja, W. Li, and A. V. Filippenko, University
of California, report the LOSS discovery of an apparent supernova on
unfiltered KAIT images:

 2008el   July 30.40   23 08 49.06  +20 04 19.6   19.3    22".4 W, 7".9 N

Additional KAIT magnitudes for 2008el in PGC 70567:  2007 Sept.-Nov., [21.3
(a combined unfiltered image); 2008 July 14.44 UT, [19.2; 31.42 UT, 19.0.
Also, nothing is visible at this position on a Digitized Sky Survey image
(limiting red mag 21).
