Sollerman and J. Fynbo, Dark Cosmology Center, Niels Bohr Institute, Copenhagen University, on behalf of N. B. Andreasen, S. J. Jakobsen, and C. Heje Groenbech, DARS Summer School, report on optical spectroscopy of the possible supernova near a faint galaxy in Draco that was announced on CBET 2404. The spectroscopy was obtained with the Nordic Optical Telescope (+ ALFOSC; range 350-900 nm, resolution 0.8 nm) on Aug. 11.9 UT. The fully reduced spectrum shows this object to be a young type-Ia supernova at, or slightly before, maximum light.
