The new object is located at R.A. = 8h43m21s.41, Decl. = +45o44'18".0 (equinox 2000.0), which is 1".9 west and 9".6 north of the center of UGC 4543 (= PGC 24493). Nothing is visible at this position on a Digitized Sky Survey image (limiting red mag 20-21). Additional magnitudes for the variable: 2009 Nov. 26.06, [18.5; 2010 Oct. 4.97, 17.3; 5.00, 17.3.
