S/2010 J 1 was discovered at the Palomar 5-m Hale telescope on 2010 Sept. 7 UT by R. Jacobson, M. Brozovic, B. Gladman, and M. Alexandersen with additional observations from the 3.5-m Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope (CFHT) made by C. Veillet during 2010 Sept. 8-2011 Jan. 4. S/2010 J 2 was discovered by C. Veillet at the CFHT on 2010 Sept. 8 UT. The Palomar team later 'pre-covered' S/2010 J 2 in data from one night earlier that had been acquired as part of the Palomar observations. C. Veillet then provided follow-up observations on 2010 Oct. 2, 9, and 30 as well as on Nov. 1. The following orbital elements are by G. V. Williams, Minor Planet Center (as published with the astrometry on MPEC 2011-L06).
