Electronic Telegram No. 5541 Central Bureau for Astronomical Telegrams Mailing address: Hoffman Lab 209; Harvard University; 20 Oxford St.; Cambridge, MA 02138; U.S.A. e-mail: cbatiau@eps.harvard.edu (alternate cbat@iau.org) URL http://www.cbat.eps.harvard.edu/index.html Prepared using the Tamkin Foundation Computer Network GAMMA DRACONIDS METEORS 2025 P. Jenniskens, SETI Institute and NASA Ames Research Center; and C. Johannink and M. Breukers, Dutch Meteor Society, report that the CAMS/BeNeLux low-light video camera network triangulated nine gamma-Draconid meteors between 2025 Apr. 4d21h and 5d04h UTC (cf. URL http://cams.seti.org/FDL/ for the date of 2025 Apr. 5). Only one meteor of this shower was detected on this date by all CAMS networks combined in 2024. The shower had a compact geocentric radiant at R.A. = 275.6 deg, Decl. = +53.8 deg, and geocentric velocity 36.5 km/s during solar longitude 15.01-15.28 deg (equinox J2000.0), with the following corresponding Mellish-type or long-period-comet-type median orbital elements (N = 9 orbits): q = 1.0003 +/- 0.0003 AU, e = 0.937 +/- 0.120, i = 59.1 +/- 1.7 deg, Peri. = 179.0 +/- 1.3 deg, Node = 15.189 +/- 0.096 deg, in good agreement with those of the annual shower (cf. Jenniskens 2023, *Atlas of Earth's Meteor Showers*, p. 773). NOTE: These 'Central Bureau Electronic Telegrams' are sometimes superseded by text appearing later in the printed IAU Circulars.
