Additional visual magnitude estimates reported to the Bureau: Sept. 22.507 UT, 8.7 (N. Brown, Yanchep, W. Australia; via Waagen); 23.94, 7.4 (J. G. de S. Aguiar, Campinas, Brazil); 23.971, 7.2 (A. Amorim, Florianopolis, Brazil); 24.531, 6.9 (Brown); 24.92, 7.1 (Aguiar); 26.92, 7.1 (Aguiar). S. J. O'Meara, Mauna, Botswana, reports photographic mag 6.4 on Sept. 24.73 (Canon DSLR image). H. Yamaoka notes that the time of the discovery images by Kanatsu on CBET 5612 SHOULD READ Sept. 21.449 UT. Also, Kojima's name was mis-spelled in the second-to-last paragraph on CBET 5612 (regarding the spectroscopy that he reported by Fujii).
