     Prof. Shapley telegraphs the following orbit by Nicholson
and Mayall based on observations 1919 and 1930:

          T = 1988 June 5.5 U.T.
      Peri. = 111 46
      Node  = 109 22      1930.0
      Incl. =  17  9
      log q = 1.471
          e = 0.2575
          U = 251.80 years

     The telegraphed value of U gives a = 39.875.
