NEW COMET WHIPPLE
     A telegram from Professor Shapley communicates the
following position of a new comet discovered by Whipple:

     1937     UT    R.A. (1937) Decl.   Mag.
     Febr. 7.378    13 19.5   +35 26    12

           Daily motion: +1m 18s, +22'.

     The comet is diffuse with central condesation or
nucleus and a tail < 1o.
