COMET SUZUKI-SATO-SEKI (1970m)
A cable from Dr. M. Huruhata, Director of the Tokyo Observatory,
reports the following observations of a new comet:
1970 UT R. A. (1950) Decl. Mag. Observer
Oct. 19.40972 15 51 - 6 6 Suzuki
19.41319 15 52 - 5 30 8 Sato
20.375 15 56.5 - 4 20 8 "
20.40486 15 58.3 - 4 30 7 Seki
Suzuki and Sato described the comet as diffuse, with neither
condensation nor tail, while Seki observed a central condensation
Independent discoveries were also made by Kobayasi (Oct. 19.426 UT)
and by Tago (Oct. 20.421 UT)
