1977 HA
     E. Helin, California Institute of Technology, reports the
discovery by B. Bus and herself of another fast-moving asteroidal
object. The following precise positions are available:

E. Helin, B. Bus, P. Bormann and T. Lauer (Palomar Mountain Observatory).
   46-cm Schmidt telescope.  Measurer: Bus.
E. Bowell (Lowell Observatory).  B magnitude 17.0 +/- 0.1.

     Computations by J. G. Williams, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and
by B. G. Marsden indicate that this is another Apollo-type object.
The following orbit and ephemeris are by the latter:

       T = 1977 Feb. 13.13 ET
   Peri. = 290.41                     e =   0.4976
