On Oct. 15 this comet was observed with the International
Ultraviolet Explorer Telescope by the I.U.E. Cometary Observations
Group (A. Delsemme, B. Donn, W. Jackson, T. Owen, J. Rahe and A.
Smith). Spectra were obtained from 1200 A to 3100 A and show L-alpha,
OH 3090 A and C 1672 A, also C02+ 2890 A, and tentatively the S
triplet at 1807-1822 A and CS 2576 A. There are one or two unidentified
features, and most of the data have not yet been reduced.
