F. J. Marshall, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, reports
that the Rapid Burster has turned on again as expected (IAUC 3308).
It was in the SAS-3 field of view during Mar. 3.30-3.38 UT; the
earliest type II burst was detected on Mar. 3.32. The bursts were
unusual in character: very flat and >~ 100 s in duration. The
source was not in the field of view again until Mar. 4.92; many
normal type II bursts of duration ~ 10 s were seen at this time. The
unusual shape of the bursts observed in the first period may be
characteristic of the early stages following turn-on.
